“The doctor who provided a tendon transfer on my right hand gave me two options for physical therapy. One was Covenant Hand Therapy and, as my husband had been pleased with their service, I selected it. Thank goodness. I’ve had a variety of physical therapies for a variety of reasons over my seventy-three years. This is the best place of its kind that I have ever experienced. They are warm, compassionate and completely dedicated to the art (and it is an art) of healing. I was in horrific pain and felt I would never e able to fully use my right hand again. Helen Prentice and Hollie Morris promised me that I would sooner rather than later. As much as I wanted to believe them I couldn’t imagine the possibility as I had been warned it could take about a year. Within six weeks my progress went from tears and agony to almost forgetting that I had the surgery. They provided guidance with clearly defined exercises to do at home as well as needed encouragement to keep trying harder.
